When you visit ecooking.ee, information about you will be collected, which is used to improve your user experience, customize the content displayed on our page, and support our marketing.

ecooking.ee collects information from users from four sources
From cookies when you visit ecooking.ee. Cookies on ecooking.ee include, but are not limited to, the collection of data about your behavior, and a general profiling of you. From purchases, e.g. demographic data, email address, payment information, order amount, discount level. Including transaction emails, e.g. order confirmation, shipment confirmation and refund confirmation.
From user behavior in sent communication, e.g. emails or newsletters. This data will typically be used to measure opening speed, time spent reading emails, type of email client.
From users who provide information about themselves (eg by adding product reviews or information to their customer profile). In some cases, we use so-called sessions, which typically help us improve the security of ecooking.ee, as well as remember functional settings.
The purpose of collecting the information serves different areas:
Obligations. In order to fulfill our obligation to you as a customer or user of ecooking.ee – such as purchasing and invoicing.

What is a session?

How is my information processed?
We guarantee that the data we hold of a personally sensitive nature is processed and stored in the best and safest way. We have taken technical and organizational measures against your information being accidentally or illegally deleted, published, lost, degraded, or come to the knowledge of unauthorized persons, misused or otherwise processed in violation of the law.In addition, we also have measures in place, so-called data processor agreements, with third parties who may handle our data. This includes, but is not limited to, hosting provider, developers of our systems, as well as analytics tools. The data processor agreements assure you as a user that we guarantee that your information will be handled in accordance with legal requirements.
If we suspect any breach of data security, we will take the necessary steps to limit the extent as well as damage that a possible breach of data security would cause.
How long do you keep my information?
The information is stored for the period permitted by law and we will delete it when the data is no longer valid or the purpose for which the data was collected has expired (EU business/tax regulations/etc.). It is also possible for you to request that the data be removed or handed over. However, it is only possible to have the data removed if the basis for it does not violate current legislation that is in line with the General Data Protection Regulation. We cannot guarantee removal from third party services such as and not limited to Google Analytics.
When purchasing on ecooking.ee, we will store data about your order in accordance with the Accounting Act, which means that we must store data about a transaction / invoice for 3 years. This also makes it easier for us to meet requirements on us, such as the right of complaint. If you have any objections to us storing this data, you should contact us in order to anonymise the data, if possible.
When contacting through a contact form, we will store the data you send to us (name, e-mail, possibly other personal information) for up to 3 years.
When creating a user account on ecooking.ee, we will store data on you and your user for as long as it is deemed relevant to your movements on the page. Since your user does not have an expiration date, there is no direct restriction on data expiration. By having a user with us, however, you confirm that the data provided is correct and up-to-date, at all times. You always have the option of having your user deleted, as well as associated data removed from our services if desired. However, we reserve the right to delete your data from ecooking.ee, after prolonged inactivity. This is done in order to ensure that your data is still correct, and will be stored with your explicit consent.
Especially about communication / contact form
If you send us information via a contact form on the site, we will only use the submitted data to the extent specified by the contact form. However, we guarantee that data will not be passed on to third parties, unless otherwise agreed for the individual contact form.
Especially about newsletter
When subscribing to our newsletter, we will only use your data in connection with marketing through our newsletter, and only this. We make use of a 3rd party service in connection with our marketing, which is bound by a data processor agreement with us in accordance with applicable law.We use the following service in connection with newsletters.
Disclosure of information
Data about your use of ecooking.ee, which ads you receive and possibly clicks, geographical location, gender and age segment, etc. passed on to third parties to the extent that this information is known and accepted. The information is used for targeting advertising, development of our services, as well as security for users and the site itself.
We also use a number of third parties for the storage and processing of data. These process information solely on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. These are also subject to a data processor agreement, so we can guarantee that they store and process this data in accordance with applicable law.

Delivery of data
